Sunday Baptism

My friend and neighbor  Michelle invited me yesterday for her baby's christening. The celebration was held at her home just a few blocks away from my place. She was happy because she'd been preparing for this baptism of baby Andrea at 6 months old now. Some of my officemates were also invited for the occasion. The foods served  tasted good - lechon, beef & chicken menus, fruits, desserts and many more.Lots of visitors coming in and out and the family were very thankful on this grand celebration.

Golden Birthday

Today is the golden birthday of our cousin and even though we are far from each other, this special day is also a worthy celebration at home. Manang Grace has been dear to us all ever since and through the years she's been supportive to the whole family  through thick and thin. She had an early retirement from her career in the government and is now happy serving  her chosen  ministry. Hoping for more fruitful years ahead and having a great life according to HIS plans. Happy Birthday!

A View of HK

The experiences and wonderful tours of my sis in Hongkong were very memorable and she shared to me this picture view of Hongkong while they were riding going to one of the tourist's destination. The sky shot was breathtaking with the  skyscrapers and yachts. A great photo for today's sky watching. Have a great weekend to all!

Birthdays Greetings Miles Away

My friend Julie is celebrating her birthday today. Some special thoughts of remembering a friend who is miles away. May  you be blessed with the things you pray for, be granted with the things you wish for and be rewarded with the things you work for. Happy birthday!

Skywatch Friday

It was mid-afternoon  when I took this sky shot. The clouds were  getting darker for a heavy rainfall. There was a tropical depression during this day and  scattered rain showers can be experienced in some parts of the country. I hope to have rain again this weekend. Happy Skywatching to all.

The Hurt Locker on DVD

I had fun watching the movie "The Hurt Locker" on dvd the other day. My brother bought a copy of the movie because it was nominated for nine (9) Academy Awards this year. The film is all about the story of a team who were assigned for disposal of explosives during the Iraq war. It showed some real scenes on bombs and explosives. I pity for those casualties in the movie and might be worst if seen in the real war zone.I did enjoy watching Hurt Locker. This movie just deserved its numerous awards after all.

Break for Monday

I extended my weekend until today, Monday because I have to attend to some personal matters. My cousin requested me for some additional service parts for her car so I had to go to car accessories shop for it. It took me hours to finished the transactions because the said parts needed to be scanned in the bodega . At lunch time I was able to sent the parts through the waiting van for her to picked up.Now I have all the time to email Lib and update my posts here.

Comb and Purses

I am thankful for these fashion items from Anne as her pasalubong for me during her pleasure trip to Hongkong with her friends. The wooden comb is unique and of good quality. The purses are nice and very handy for personal use. There were plenty of fashionable items in Hongkong to buy but I am already happy to received these as beautiful souvenirs.

Longer Hair Now

Its been nine months already since my last haircut and I am happy to see that my hair is longer now. With its growth also follows extra care and maintenance like shampoo, conditioner and hot oil. It is nice to feel having a long hair  and hopefully enjoy the length until this year.

Remembering Sept. 11,2001

Today is a commemoration of the nine (9) years after the September 11, 2001 attack in the US. It was a tragedy not only to that country but to the world. Many innocent lives were lost and that was the most terrible time for the many who lost their loved ones. There were many things that happened to justify the 9/11 attack and just recently in the news there was that planned burning of the Koran that led some uprisings but  it did not  happen. May the people learn from that tragic event and move on with a peaceful and loving attitude towards the world.

Internet is very popular at present time and it brought us with so many relevant informations that we can always think of such as living, health, wellness, searches, games, news, politics, relationships and even fitness dating service. Living on the year 2010 is already advance and dating for men and women has been going through online already. For me this is a great chance to mingle with other single and looking men who would want friendship, marriage, dating or long distance relations. You can also get to know with people who share the same ideas, passion, and likes just like you who is searching for the right partner. I think online dating is all about meeting people and knowing about their personalities.Whether you would click well that is something that you have to deal with as far as online dating is concern. Just be open for possibilities and always hope for the best. Signing in with the website is always the first  step so just check it out and who knows the "one " for you  is just clicks away.

Friday Holiday

September 10 is declared as holiday which marked the end of ramadan of the muslim community. President Noynoy Aquino declared today as a regular holiday to promote cultural understanding and integration wherein the entire Filipino nation have full opportunity to join the muslims in the observance and celebration of Eid'l Fitr. I stayed at home this morning and the long weekend would give me more time to spend on my personal and home activities.

Hotel Room

I took this shot of my hotel room during the workshop where I stayed for two nights. It was a nice feeling of comfort away from home. The air condition was cool and the beddings were orderly. The bathroom has hot and cold showers with free toiletries to use. The water was so abundant and it was so nice to take a bath every morning and evening. I also enjoyed watching the late news and shows at night through cable television. My stay with the hotel was just a great weekend experience.

free business cards

I had been busy for the past weeks because I attended a workshop. It was an important activity for me as part of my networking business. The workshop was all about  planning, product knowledge, marketing strategies, customer relations, goals and many more. In short it was a comprehensive and productive training for me. Now is the time to face reality and honestly it is quite hard. But I am carefully taking one step at a time making sure I start with the very basic part of my strategies. Definitely I have to introduced myself to my prospects first  so what I am planning to do now is to give them free business cards. Through this I would be able to inform them about my name, address, contact number, email address and other related information if ever they would like to order products or for their membership. I choose a business card that is simple, readable, nice graphics, nice fonts and attractive to my customers. The picture of a card above is a good sample for me.

"Ber" months now

Time just flies so fast again. Now we are on the "ber" months already  starting the month of September. I can already hear some Christmas music on cellphone ringtones and even FM music stations. Philippines is said to be the country with the longest Christmas at the start of "ber" months until December. Anyway, I am hoping that this year's holidays will be hopeful, fruitful, merrier and peaceful.

CD Burn

After office work this afternoon I went to the fifth floor of the nearby mall where there is a CD burning service. I was requested to download some pictures saved in a 2GB memory card that  were quite a lot. For personal copy the pictures need to be filed in a compact disc just in case the card will be corrupted or get infected with virus. It took me over an hour waiting for the downloading of the pictures. Later tonight when I get home I would check out the CD of the pictures.
