Dry Spell Time

The city is experiencing prolonged dry weather now. It is sunny hot during daytime and the roads are very dusty when I travel from home to the downtown area. Most of my plants at home get easily withered of too much heat. I need to water them a lot to moisturized the soil. I spent an  hour with my plants this weekend and I pity them because some cannot sustain the hot weather. When I read the news today, according to the weather bureau the El Nino phenomenon is associated with the unusual warming in the equatorial pacific which usually brings below normal rainfall. This is affecting the rest of the country and some provinces now are greatly affected by the dry spell.
