Durian Monument

Thanks to my brother Raymund for this picture courtesy of his Canon camera. It was not easy for him to woke up early hours of the morning just to had a shot of this beautiful durian monument. Well, he woke up early with a purpose to sent off our sis to the airport for her early flight going to Manila. This fruit monument can be seen when you enter the airport going to the departure area. This is a creative work of art of some local artists of Davao City as being famous of the durian fruit. You would expect some seeds inside the Durian but instead faces of people in it. What an amazing work of art!

Managing Your Debt

I like to start my post by the meaning the word "Debt" - an obligation to pay or do something; money or goods or services owed by one person to another. Now that is more simplified and easy to understand. The real sense of the word is not easy for me to discuss here. It is because I am one of the many people who is experiencing it. It is hard to think about being in debt especially during these crucial and uncertain times. It can be painful to think on how will you be able to pay the indebtedness but during this hard times , but that is commonly the option in order to make both ends meet in the present financial living. In as much as I would like to pay and zero-out all the dues , I think through consolidating it in a step-by-step way would be a good method in debt management. By prioritizing the dues which would be given first importance and to settle it according to the kind of payable that it is. Ranking it which would be the project to pay first and so on...One thing more is not to add another debt if there are still some existing and unpaid ones. This would be hard and very unpractical. Another thing is to just live with in your means if you are currently paying monthly dues. Do not buy things that are not really that important to you during the debt period. These are mostly things that you can live even without having it. They can be the things that are not your priority. I think there are no things in this world that cannot be managed even in debt.I am certain to be debt free by the year ends. A positive outlook is one way of managing your debt also. Personal conviction really helps. This is a matter of being responsible and smart as far as finances are concerned.

Weekend Errands and Friendly Treats

I usually stays at home every Sunday. This is the only day of the week where I can take a break and relax. But for today I have lots of errands-- buy this, call that, pick up this, exchange this, go there..etc...I am able to finish all my tasks by noontime already.

I rush to the nearest mandarin restaurant because my stomach is already growling of hunger. When I am about to grab a sit, my friend Michelle and Josie are on the other table.

We join together, they treat me for lunch and chit-chat over sumptuous wanton noodles, rice toppings and fresh fruit salad. Its just a coincidence that we meet in the same place.

Now I am feeling physically overused and tired yet gastronomically satisfied.Hehehe..

What a Sunday!

Road Qoutes Featuring SCTEx

For me, writing something down was the only road out.

I'm more than open to hope, but I think men and women have a difficult time dealing with each other and often take the low road.

We have seen from experience that, if we are in the habit of walking regularly on the same road, we are able to think about other things while walking, without paying attention to our steps.
The roughest road often leads to the top.

Whatever comes to mind when you think about roads, I still believe that the Road to Success is always Under Construction.

ENJOY TRAVELING IN EVERY ROAD OF LIFE!

Owning a real property at this time is quite a challenge for us especially if we are not sure of what we are getting in either house or land possession. During this uncertain times we have to be aware and cautious about any dealings on real property. Real Property Management is the credible company to consider especially in this particular field. The reliability and honesty of this company made them the Franchise of the Year Honorable Mention award. RPM was featured in the biz journal of Cincinnati and Columbus. This is a great opportunity for a company to be featured in a journal and that is considered to be a good business exposure. RPM manages over 20,000 units nationwide so the buyers can have many real property options. In addition to that, Freddie Mac, a corporation authorized by Congress to provide a secondary market for residential mortgages, signed an exclusive agreement with Real Property Management to manage the new REO rental initiative. An indication that this company is worthy of trust by the government. Presently, RPM Midwest joins the National Association of Residential Property Managers to ensure the highest standards in property management services. Painful Monday

It is Monday again! I do not feel good on the first day of this week. My right arm is experiencing some muscular pains starting from the elbow up to the wrist. It is painful that I have a difficulty carrying my bag when I reported at the office this morning. Mondays are always full of rush and deadlines but I keep my self not to get too busy to provide physical relief from the pain. Good thing that it was no longer that painful this late afternoon. I think this is a manifestation of stress from strenuous tasks. A simple way of reminding me that myself needs to breath and have a break too....:D

Play with your Friends at 8c1

My brother Raymund invited me last sunday to joined him in an online game of billiards. I was not busy then and also curious about this kind of online game. We linked together so he introduced me to the online site multiplayer games,8c1.net.http://www.8c1.net . The game was full of fun because it was a competition with other online players. Aside from this, the game allowed us to invite other players too so my brother got a chance to invite his friend. Take note, the website is free! Isn't this interesting? It was the three of us who played the online billiards and the game was full of fun for me as a beginner. I have already chosen this game as my favorite pastime. Just check out the site for more details about this great online game.

Game 4 in NBA Finals

I enjoyed watching the latest game 4 in the NBA finals at home and as an avid basketball fan of the LA Lakers , my cheers and applause are always with the team. Game 4 was tough for the Lakers at the first quarter because it was the shining moment of the Orlando Magic. I thought they would loose it but good thing they made it on the 4th quarter until the overtime. The strategies, maneuvers and tactics of the players worked well. I hope you could keep it up until the finals. Good Luck Lakers!

Monday Dinner Treat

It is Monday again and I got off from work exhausted and tired (the most common feeling in every start of the week). I am thankful for the dinner I had with my friend MyMy who invited me at Kuya Eds, a downtown buffet restaurant. We enjoyed savoring different kinds of dishes from the main course, appetizers and desserts. A gastronomic delight after a hard day's work today. Thanks My for the great dinner treat. Wishing you more opportunities so that we can have this again....:D :D

Awesome but Frightening Landscape

During my visit to the Davao Crocodile Park there was a centered, landscaped area embellished with plants, grasses, stones and bricked pathway. It is beautifully made art with the depiction of the natural scenery.

Some cheerful,grown-up flowers can be seen at the side part that made the park interesting and beautiful to see.

It would be fun and great adventure walking in this landscaped area looking the natural scenery. But no way, if this Iguana, a large herbivorous tropical lizard with a spiny crest along the back would greet and stroll with you on the pathway.

That's frightening! Hehe..

Moon Watching

I arrived home one time late at night this week and while looking at the status of the sky, this nice view of the moon just captured my attention. The surrounding clouds that was being reflected by its light made the moon shine in peace and security. May you feel the same way with the moon for today's skywatch Friday. Happy skywatching to all!

All about your Hair

My Tuesday of Annoyance

I felt yesterday that I was playfully provoked by time. My patience was being tested with many persistent annoyances at the start of the day. It all began at the office with some co-workers who were tensed due to the demand of their work. They were blaming others of their job related faults and mistakes and made me as their shock absorber. At noon time, I was expecting an important item delivery two days ago and the assigned person just told me that it was brought by the other personnel in-charge and asked to come back for pick-up again the next day. They forgot to bring again the said items when I inquired on it. It was so irritating! On the late afternoon, I went to the grocery shop for a while and bought a few basic personal things. I lined up the cashier lane to pay and most lanes that time was full of paying customers. The lady cashier was too slow to punched the groceries because her cash register machine cannot read the pricing code. She kept going out of her post for unknown reasons and so slow in counting the cash received from the customers. It took me almost an hour of waiting in a grocery shop just for few items purchased. I arrived home late at night already felt sick and tired of the exhaustion brought about by these events. What an exasperating day!!!
